This is a perfect DVD if you want to do diferent beautiful basic moves when your partner doesn’t know a lot of steps.

It is perfect! And she explain all the moves so well, they are very easy to follow.

The video shows the very, very basic moves for ladies styling. I was surprised because I have seen many of the styles at the club and in the studio.I thought she would display her personally created style.I have been Latin dancing in various styles for about 4 years. The breakdown and instruction of the moves receives an A+. She shows front, back and with a partner. The quality looks low budget espically for the price of the DVD. Another benefit is she talks about when it is ideal to use the style when dancing with a partner and with the speed and type of the music. I gave it a 3 for great easy instruction( and I did not purchase volume 1).I just would of like to see more unique styling.

Buy, you will not regret. But you have to be at least high intermediate level.

This DVD is a great instructional video for introducing beginning salsa dancers to improvisation, and it has a few unique moves for intermediate dancers as well. The syncopations and variations are divided into three sections: 1) variations to incorporate into salsa basics with a partner (mambo and cumbia basics and cross-body lead); 2) shines when stationary and supported by your partner; and 3) solo shines for when you break hold completely. The instruction is clear and easy to understand, and each variation is shown from different angles and then with a partner. Intermediate dancers will recognize the majority of these moves, but some of them are more unique. Beginners will find this a great introduction to the most basic syncopations that are easy to incorporate into social dancing. Although I personally believe that syncopations and variations are not “one size fits all,” this DVD provides a variety of options as a starting point for experimenting with variations that feel good in your body and therefore will look good to others. A great starting point.

The moves are very well broken down and easy to learn. Juliet shows every move from both front and back and also demonstrates what it would look like with a partner. Also some of the supported shines are impossible to do without a partner. (Although for practice you can use a chair).

Some of the moves that Juliet teaches are rarely seen at the clubs, so you will be original
